Two museums, one future

Over the past year, the Boards of Directors of the North Platte Valley Museum and the Farm And Ranch Museum have been collaborating on a plan to combine the two museums on the Farm And Ranch Museum campus (adjacent to scenic Scotts Bluff National Monument) and integrate the museums' storylines to tell the tale of the original inhabitants, westward migration, water resource and transportation development, settlement and farming and ranching technologies that fueled the growth of towns in the North Platte River valley and the High Plains.  The museums' Collaboration Committee is posting documents and links to news stories about the project online so that interested people can follow project progress. To view and comment on recent documents, click here. You will be asked to create a "wiggio" account. Recent activity will appear in the "feed" tab, the document collection is under the "folder" tab, and any upcoming public meetings will appear in the "calendar" tab.
